Steps for setting up Nighthawk Tri-band WiFI mesh extender using NETGEAR installation assistant

1.    While the setup process is going on, place your tri-band extender close to your WiFi router.

2.    Then put your WiFi extender on power.

3.    Before proceeding further, ensure the power status of your extender device. It should have to be in up-state. That will be signified by Power LED. It will turn to be green when your device gets powered on.

4.    Then connect any device such as a computer or laptop with a WiFi range extender network. You can establish this connection either by using the Ethernet port or through WiFI signal.

If you are going for WiFi mode, then you will be required to connect to the network named “NETGEAR_EXT,” under available WiFI networks.

7.    Place your extender in halfway between your home router and the area receiving weak signals.
